ActiveNation run Climbing Challenge at Southampton Boat Show

Leisure Centre operator Active Nation provided an activity stand at the Souithampton Boat Show, to promote their mission to create a healthy nation. As part of the attraction they ran a Active Climb Challenge, where kids had to climb 3 revolutions of the Freedom Climber. The kid with the fastest time of the day won a trip on a RNLI rib. Times varied from around 3 minutes to the fastest of 55 seconds. It proved to be a popular attraction with a constant queue of kids waiting to test their climbing skills. The Freedom Climber provided the ideal challenge as it kept the climbers close to the ground, so provided a safe and quick system to operate. It was then installed into the nearby Quays Leisure Centre in Southampton.
